Temporary Collection Representative

ABC-Amega is looking for Temporary Collection Representatives to join our team on a 3-4 month temporary basis and work on behalf of some of the most well-known companies in social media, technology, and manufacturing to collect on past due business accounts. The primary focus of our collection representatives is to manage portfolios by working with both clients and their customers to requesting payments via phone, email, fax, and letter. Within our business-to-business environment, you never call anyone at home about their personal debt. This means no credit card debt, medical bills, or calls to individuals about their student loans. We only call companies that have past due invoices with our clients.

This position exercises independent judgment in the handling of all aspects of the collection process including collecting on delinquent accounts and making recommendations to clients for settlements and payment plans as well as maintaining detailed records of all collection stages.

  • Ability to function independently and maintain a strong work ethic
  • Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent Business to Business interpersonal skills demonstrated through prior customer service and collections work experience

High school diploma or GED; or 3 years’ experience in customer service and/or collections in a professional office environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic telephone experience and etiquette skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, navigating through the internet and past experience in client database management.
