Spotting and Reacting to Warning Signs of Financially Distressed Customers: Dodging the Bankruptcy Bullet
Wednesday, March 29, 2017 2:00 pm- 3:30 pm EST (11:00 am - 12:30 pm PST)

Credit executives often deal with financially distressed customers at risk of bankruptcy sometime in the future. It can be grappling to know when to take steps to manage and reduce exposure. With the risk of increased interest rates and while significant sectors of the U.S. economy, such as retail, are facing financial distress, this issue is particularly important.

Presented by attorney, Bruce Nathan, the program will cover the early warning signs characterizing troubled companies at risk of a future bankruptcy filing, along with the available sources of information from which credit executives can learn of these warning signs. Examples and recent case studies will be presented to show how all these warning signs accumulate and point toward the inevitable.

The program will also cover which questions should be asked and what information should be obtained from private companies that might be facing financial distress.

Credit executives will learn:
• How to use information to negotiate for protection from the risk of nonpayment
• Many legal and risk mitigation tools to assist in the reduction or termination of terms
• How to enhance the likelihood of payment of claims from struggling customers

The webinar will conclude with a live Q & A session in which audience participation is encouraged.
