Richard Hastings serves as Macro and Consumer Strategist with international investment bank, Global Hunter Securities, LLC. In addition to his noted work on the consumer and retailers, he analyzes motor gasoline trends, forex and economic trends including real estate, Japan and the yen, employment and inflation. Richard began his career in the garment center in the 1980s as a credit analyst. He is a member of the Market Technician's Association, The Credit Research Foundation, serves as Economic Advisor to the Federation of Credit and serves on the board of the CFA Institute North Carolina Society. He is a frequent guest on CNBC and Bloomberg TV. Richard has been a Certified Credit Executive (CCE) with the National Association of Credit Management (NACM).
