Before I joined GAIN, I was dependent on customers to provide credit references. What I generally received were their good references. They did not provide any that would have negative information. And getting a timely response from the references added an additional challenge.

GAIN credit reports are industry-specific. So the information I receive comes from other vendors in the industry and is relevant to the kind of transactions I make with my customers.
The reports are available immediately through the members-only goAmega website. In addition to being clear and easy to understand – they are considerably more cost efficient than the standard generic reports.
And, if I need any additional information, group members are always available to provide more detailed status on an account.
Not only is GAIN my "go to" for working new customers, it also makes managing existing accounts easier as well. For instance, evaluating a customer request for an increased credit line is as easy as going on-line and getting an updated credit report that lets me analyze the customer's current performance with other suppliers.
Another benefit of GAIN membership is the e-mail Flash Reports. These are valuable because they immediately advise me if one of my customers is not paying other vendor-members. They also alert me to developments such as past dues, placed for collection, NSF checks and bankruptcies. It's real-time information you can’t get anywhere else. Being able to regularly review customer histories through this real-time data allows me to address customer trends before they become problems.
Bottom line – GAIN helps me tremendously in making quick, cost-effective credit decisions.
GAIN has been an important part of my credit management strategy for more than 20 years. It is definitely the complete package for professionals, like me, who need to meet the increasing demands of credit management.
