Director, Global Markets
As director, global markets, William is responsible for oversight of ABC-Amega's sales and marketing activities in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Australia and the South Pacific region. He also serves as the primary field interface with clients and prospects in Europe, and is responsible for marketing ABC-Amega's collection and receivable management services in that international sector.
In 2003-2004, William was the chairman of FCIB, a prestigious association of U.S. and European executives in finance, credit and international business. He was the first European to be selected as chairman, and continues to be a member of the Board of Directors. FCIB has been serving the export business community for 80 years, providing products and services to major multinational corporations, as well as enabling international professionals to achieve business objectives and professional growth.
Mr. Bastiaan comes to ABC-Amega from Credit Management Solutions & Services, where he served as managing director. His experience also includes more than twenty years of service with DSM, a global chemical firm, where he held the positions of Credit Department Manager and Global Credit Risk Manager.
Fluent in several languages including Dutch, German and English, Mr. Bastiaan has published articles in trade journals and credit magazines, in addition to participating in international forums and conferences. He also holds the designation of Certified International Credit Executive (CICE).
