Chief Executive Officer
David serves as Chief Executive Officer of ABC-Amega Inc. and holds an ownership interest in the firm. His responsibilities include determining long-term vision and strategy, corporate and shareholder objectives, promotional initiatives to the marketplace and international positioning and planning. His tenure has been characterized by diversification and enhanced international awareness of the firm’s receivable management services. His focus is on the continued expansion of global capabilities to U.S. and International clients, and leadership in innovative international accounts receivable solutions.
David’s leadership was instrumental in the company achieving the distinction of being the only private receivable management firm honored with the U.S. President’s “E Star” Award for excellence in foreign trade service and marketing. A graduate of George Washington University Law School and the University of Rochester, he joined the company as Vice President and Counsel in 1982, was promoted to President in 1990, and named CEO in 2000.
Recognizing the excellence demonstrated in his personal commitment to ABC-Amega and the community, David was a finalist for the 2003 Upstate New York Entrepreneur of the Year Award presented by the accounting and consulting firm of Ernst & Young, a global leader in professional services.
In addition to his corporate leadership responsibilities, David takes an active role in promoting world trade and business relationships. He is currently on the board of the World Trade Center Buffalo Niagara, as well as the United States District Exporters Council, Upstate NY. He is also Chairman of the Executive Committee for the Young Presidents Organization and a member of the Commercial Law League of America and the Association of Financial Professionals.
